Outreach


The Idaho Interscholastic Cycling League facilitates annual outreach programs that benefit Idaho’s youth with the opportunity to check out the lifelong sport of mountain biking in a relaxed, non-competitive and supportive format.

“Try-it-Out Session”:

These preseason events (April-May) are geared towards new student & team recruitment, getting more girls-on-bikes and trail stewardship engagement.

Who: Curious students, coaches, parents and school administrators.

“Loaner Bike”:

The Idaho League is happy to offer a fleet of quality mountain bikes and helmets to student who would otherwise not be able to participate. Equipment available July-October.

Who: Students that commit to the current season by registering with the Idaho League, attend regular team practices, try 2 of the 5 races and agree to care for the equipment.
